Email this page Print page	Calendar Event SVdP Summer Lunch Program Wednesday, July 07, 2010 download event info SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM Our SVDP conference is again participating in the summer lunch program for low-income children in Waukesha. The Waukesha Council of SVDP and Waukesha Park and Recreation have partnered in the program for 7 years. SVDP conferences throughout Waukesha County provide lunches at Haertl Field from the day after school is out in June until the day before school begins in late August. Most of these children receive a hot lunch during the school year, but after school is out, these same children are on their own. Our SVDP conference at SJV has been assigned the week of July 6 through July 9. Thank you for your generosity! In order to defray some of our expenses, we are again asking parishioners to purchase juice boxes and single wrapped desserts such as Twinkies, Ho-Ho’s or similar items. Please place these items on the SVDP food pantry wood boxes in the Narthex. Last year we made over 125 lunches each day.
