Forensics

In the last 20 plus years, St John Vianney School has built an excellent reputation in local and state competitions.  This wonderful enrichment opportunity is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.  SJV competes against other students from public and private schools in the Wisconsin  Middle Level Forensics Association League.

There will be a parent meeting on Wednesday, December 2 in the school library from 3:00 - 4:00P.M. at which time the commitment forms are signed and a $50 fee will be collected.
Practice begins in November every Wednesday in the school library. If you are interested, please stop in on a Wednesday to observe students in action.  The meets, which are usually on Saturdays, run from January through March.

The team coaches are Mrs. Penny Walther-Theys, Ms. Emily Gust, Mrs. Susa Siy, Mrs. Kim Tallmadge and Mrs. Kathy Uy.  Guest coaches are Mrs. Albright, Mr. Demeter, and Mrs. Goss.    Note: Mr. Demeter is giving extra credit in Language Arts, which will be further explained at the parent meeting in December.

There are numerous categories in forensics; please click on the link or contact one of the coaches for information.
