"Come to Me, all who
are weary and heavy-laden,
and I will give you rest."
  Matthew 11:28

St. John Vianney Parish is a vibrant Catholic community in Brookfield, Wisconsin.  With over 8,000 souls in the parish, ministries to engage members in prayer and worship, Catholic education formation, human concerns, stewardship and parish life are continuing to reach deeper and further every day.   On the outside, some people wonder if they will be lost in a faith community this size.  As a member, you'll find St. John Vianney parish members to be warm and welcoming.

St. John Vianney Parish School and Christian Formation programs provide youth with opportunities to utilize the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit:  Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety and Fear of the Lord through faith-formation and a variety of service and faith-filled experiences.

Over 100 ministries engage parish members of all ages in spiritual development, social fellowship and acts of service to nourish each other, the community and provide for those in need.  Every parish member is invited to share the gifts God has provided, the parish Link Office actively connects talents of members with parish and community needs.

Individuals, couples, new and established families, empty-nesters and seniors find St. John Vianney Parish providing guidance and direction needed for their faith journey.  Some people relate to 'coming home' when they join the parish.

New parish members are warmly invited and welcomed to join the parish.  Opportunities are provided monthly after Sunday liturgy and in the evening to attend parish orientation, preregistration is not required.  The relaxed and informative orientations provide an opportunity to learn about SJV's history, programs and meet new friends!

Contact Mary Ann Davel, Coordinator of Adult/Family Ministry programs (262) 796-3944 for more information.  Consult the parish calendar for the next session.
