Market Day A delicious way to earn funds for SJV every month!
Market Day is a successful monthly food fundraiser program for St. John Vianney School. The food is restaurant quality, easy to prepare and 100% money-back guaranteed that your family will enjoy. The selection of over 180 easy-to-prepare, quality items is sure to please every family. Additional profits are earned during special bonus days promotions.
In school year 2008-'09, the Market Day program provided over $10,000 in revenues for Home & School Association.
Ordering is easy and new customers are always welcome! Each month, paper order forms are sent home in the School Red Folder or Christian Formation folders of students in grades K4 through 8. Additional order forms are available at the school and parish office. Simply return your completed order form to either of these two places by the deadline printed on the back of the form. Then, stop by the school cafeteria between 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. on the sale/pick-up day to take items home!
An even easier alternative is to place your order at www.marketday.com (or click on the logo above)! The site has photos, product descriptions, ingredient lists, recipes and more. When ordering online, the option to pay in advance with credit card is available. Paper order form customers pay with cash or check on the day of the sale.
Market Day News and Deadlines
We are pleased to announce, effective immediately, the internet cut-off time for all Market Day orders will be extended to 11pm CST. This means more time for you to make your selections and to get your orders in! For February’s sale please have your paper order forms turned in to the school or parish office no later than Monday, February 2and your online orders placed no later than Thursday, February 5at 11pm CST. Through participation in the Market Day program, SJV earns a minimum profit of 10%. A family with a student enrolled in the School or Christian Formation program has the opportunity to share in this profit and earn back fees or tuition. Fifty percent of the profit SJV earns goes directly to the general revenue fund of Home & School Association. The remaining 50% can be:
awarded back to your family at School/Christian Formation registration next year or
donated to SJV’s Home & School Association or Christian Formation program.

We encourage you to participate in the Market Day fundraiser. Purchases made through Market Day support St. John Vianney School and Christian Formation program and benefits your family. Since 2003, St. John Vianney School has partnered with Market Day and the parish St. Vincent de Paul Society each November to provide pies for families on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Parish members, including School and Christian Formation families, generously purchase pies that are donated to St. Vincent de Paul Society and given to families in need.
The first year pies were collected, there were tears in one family's eyes as they had never had pie on Thanksgiving - it was a luxury they otherwise could not afford.
