Administrative Services / Finance
Ministries in the Administrative/Finance area of the parish utilize professional skills of parish members interested in advancing the technical aspects of running a parish. Individuals of various backgrounds share ideas and perspectives in the strategic planning, review and daily operations of the parish.
Due to the scope of these areas, parish members interested in serving on these committees can expect to give a three year commitment with options to renew through a discernment process.

Administrative Services/Finance

Aids in determining the broad policy direction of the parish in financial matters. Oversee the budget process, continuously monitor parish revenues and expenditures, capital expenditures and special projects. Interface with Stewardship Committee regarding contribution revenues.
Building and Grounds

Assist parish administration and maintenance department with planning and maintaining the physical plant and surrounding areas. Evaluate short and long term needs of the parish as they pertain to the building/grounds, continually monitor the facility, and make recommendations to Parish Council.
Endowment Fund

A subcommittee of Stewardship, the endowment committee is established to manage the parish’s endowment funds that supplement and provide additional funds for the congregation’s programs and services. Provide additional monies for capital requirements, maintenance and the continuing financial health of St. John Vianney. Planned and special giving efforts and oversight of investments.
Human Resources

Parish Council

Provide spiritual leadership, parish direction, policy development and planning for the future of St. John Vianney. Active involvement in and oversight to the above purpose.
Parish Office Help

Assist staff of the Parish and/or Christian Formation office.
Photocopying, telephone answering, collating booklets, stuffing envelopes for mailings, etc. Involvement is flexible and as needed, with regular weekly schedules established.
Parish Planning Team

Responsible for developing and facilitating the parish in long-range planning. A five-year cycle of evaluation of the strengths, trends, opportunities, changes and administration of the parish. Assist Parish Council and individual groups in developing objectives in support of parish goals. The group is also responsible for assessing the parish organizational structure and recommending changes to Parish Council.
Technology

Advise and support the parish and school on technology related issues. Assist with planning and providing hardware/network support and managing the SJV website.
