Preparation
Children enrolled and regularly attending catechesis through Christian Formation or St. John Vianney School receive First Reconciliation in the fall of second grade.
Parents, with assistance from catechists prepare children for the sacrament.
There are several steps to receiving this sacrament:
1. Register and regularly attend catechesis through Christian Formation or St. John Vianney School.
2. Attend the parent meeting for First Reconciliation, generally held in October.
3. Parent and First Reconciliate complete activities in the handbook.
4. Parent and First Reconciliate attend Activity Day, generally held in November.
5. Register for one of two First Reconciliation Services.
6. First Reconciliation is received in early December.

Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is held every Saturday at 8:30 a.m. or by appointment.
The reconciliation rooms are located along the northeast walls (left hallway) off the Narthex as you enter Church.
