CYM

CYM Sports in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee has a long and rich history. For many years CYM has provided an opportunity for young men and women to participate in basketball, volleyball and at one time, softball.

The longtime philosophy for “Catholic School and parish athletic programs to offer an opportunity for young people to associate with dedicated adults who not only foster the development of athletic skills but serve as role models of Christian living" is evident in this ministry.

Athletics in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee provide:
·  A learning experience.
·  A positive base for Christian development.
·  An understanding of competition, emphasizing sportsmanship and
teamwork.
·  An opportunity for all participants to develop and share knowledge and
skills appropriate to their level.

Quad Parish Golf Camp, Skills Challenge, and Golf League 2009

Golf is the world’s most rewarding sport.

In no other sport can an average player duplicate or even better a shot or score by the world’s best players.  Think about it.  Can you dunk a basketball like LeBron James?  Hit a home run like Prince Fielder?  Throw a football like Peyton Manning? Chances are the answers to all three questions are “No.”  In golf, however, you can make a par or birdie on the same hole as Tiger Woods; you can chip in from off the green like Steve Stricker; and if you’re lucky, you can even make a hole in one.  Nobody in the world can do better than that.
