Year End Gifts to St. John Vianney Parish
As the end of the year approaches, we reflect upon the many blessings bestowed upon us.
We have a great opportunity to thank God for all he has done for us this past year and throughout our lives.
It is also a good time to consider how we might give back some of our assets to Him through His Church with a special year-end gift of cash or appreciated assets such as shares of stock or other investments.

Giving before year-end benefits both you and the parish. Your generosity enables SJV to meet its financial obligations and to carry out its mission.

You can still honor your 2010 stewardship pledge to St. John Vianney up to the last day of the year. The parish office will be open until noon on December 31.
Donations to the parish can also be made by VISA or Mastercard either as a one time gift or on-going. |

Charitable IRA Distributions Allowable for those 70 1/2 and older
The Tax Relief Act just passed recently allows taxpayers 70½ and older to make IRA distributions directly to a qualified charity without including the distribution in gross income. This has now been extended THROUGH 2011.
Taxpayers can also elect to treat distributions made in January 2011 as if they were made in 2010.
We call this to your attention in the event that this program may fit in very well with your tax and estate planning and year-end.
